 Elimination Battle Royal for IBW Championship (EVENT #1) - Wednesday, June 5th, 2002
- The show started off with "Welcome To The Jungle" hitting followed by Jordan "The Titan" making his way down to the IBW ring, posing for the crowd in attendance. "She Loves Me Not" hit as "Hot Property" Wyatt Blackford was the next person out. Wyatt made his way down towards
the ring and then posed for the crowd in attendance as well. The match started with Jordan taunting Wyatt until Wyatt could take it no more and he charged at Jordan. Jordan ducked the clothesline and then turned around and hit a shoulder block taking Wyatt off of his feet. Jordan then put a headlock on Wyatt, gave him a nuggie and then waved to the crowd. Wyatt fought his way back up and gave Jordan two stiff elbows to the chest followed by
kick to the gut and big suplex. Both Wyatt and Jordan layed in the ring for a few seconds before regaining composure. Both men got on their feet and charged at each other hitting a double clothesline.
Time had expired. "Told You So" hit as Tommy Hill made his way down towards the ring. Tommy jumped in the ring right away and went for the pin on Wyatt but he kicked out after
two. Tommy then pinned Jordan but he also kicked out after two. Both Wyatt and Jordan got on their feet. Tommy Hill then charged at both men attempting a double clothesline but both Wyatt and Jordan ducked, turned around and kicked Tommy in the gut and hit a big double suplex on Tommy Hill. Jordan got up as well as Wyatt. Jordan attempted to shake Wyatt's hand but Wyatt slapped it away and nailed Jordan over the head taking him down. Tommy
Hill then got on his feet and he threw Wyatt to the outside. Back in the ring, Tommy picked up Jordan Stamy, kicked him in the gut and then hit the Tommy Gunn! Tommy went for the pin on Jordan and got the 1, 2, and 3 eliminating Jordan "The Titan" Stamy.
"It's Going Down" hit as Philip Flawless ran down towards the ring and slid in. Tommy Hill was there to start kicking and punching Philip. Wyatt then got back into the
ring and got in the face of Tommy Hill. As Tommy backed up, Philip grabbed Tommy from behind and rolled him up in a schoolboy pin but only got a two count. Tommy then got back up quickly and that lead to Wyatt kicking Tommy in the gut followed by lifting him up over his head and dropping him connecting with a perfect Military Press Slam. Philip then took Wyatt and kicked him in the gut and hit a quick Evenflow DDT. Philip picked up Tommy Hill from
the ground and locked him up from behind calling Jordan Stamy back out to the ring to get revenge. Jordan Stamy then ran out with a broom in hand and he swung at Tommy but Tommy ducked and Jordan took out Philip instead! Tommy threw Jordan out of the ring as Wyatt pinned Philip Flawless to get the 1, 2, and 3 eliminating him.
"I Am" hit
as Marty Matthews made his way down to the ring spitting water over his head staring down Wyatt and Tommy in the ring. Marty jumped into the ring and first stared down Wyatt Blackford and then turned around and stared down Tommy Hill. Marty backed up smiling at Tommy Hill as Wyatt nailed Marty on the neck with a sharp elbow followed by Tommy Hill hitting a big clothesline on Marty. Both Tommy and Wyatt started to beat on Marty
as he attempted to recover from the big clothesline from Tommy Hill. Tommy then walked towards Wyatt and they stared each other down. Marty finally got to his feet and he nailed Tommy from behind with a quick elbow and gave him a quick snap suplex. Tommy Hill just started to get back on his feet when Wyatt turned Marty around, kicked him in the gut and hit a big hanging suplex. As Marty lay on the ground after getting the hanging suplex, Tommy Hill got on his feet and Wyatt saw this and charged at him attempting a clothesline. Tommy Hill ducked the clothesline but he was heading towards Marty Matthews he quickly got back on his feet and caught Tommy and hit the Marty Massacre! Marty pinned Tommy Hill to get the 1, 2, and 3 eliminating Tommy Hill.
"Purple Pills" hit as The Staminator made his way down towards the IBW ring. The Staminator locked up with Marty Matthews right away. Marty first pushed Staminator back farther until Staminator showed great strength and pushed Marty with great force knocking him hard on his back. Wyatt then charged at Staminator right away and took him down with a big clothesline. Marty got back on his feet and he started to nail Wyatt with some hard right punches until Wyatt fought back with a kick to the gut making Marty turn around. Staminator got back on his feet and he nailed Marty with a big right hand, Marty turned around again and got a right hand from Wyatt, Marty turned around again and got a right hand from Staminator and finally Marty turned around again and Wyatt threw him up on his shoulder and hit a big Samoan Drop. Right as Marty hit the ring from the Samoan Drop, Staminator started to kick him in the gut a few times. Both Staminator and Wyatt picked up Marty and tried to throw Marty to the outside but Marty caught himself, turned around and got a big double clothesline from Staminator and Wyatt. Both Staminator and Wyatt started to work on Marty again but Marty fought back giving Wyatt a big elbow to the gut taking him down. Marty got to his feet and started giving Staminator some hard right punches. Staminator broke it up though by giving Marty a stiff kick to the gut. Staminator picked up Marty on his shoulder and then slammed him back down hard as Wyatt Blackford looked on. Wyatt then nailed Staminator from behind with a big elbow followed by taking Staminator off of his feet by giving him a kick sweep to his left leg. Marty got back on his feet and he jumped in the air and hit an impressive dropkick taking Wyatt off of his feet. Marty started to kick Staminator on the ground until he fought his way back up to his feet. Wyatt was just starting to get on his feet behind Marty when The Staminator gave Marty a big chop against the chest making him back up a little. Wyatt Blackford then gave Marty a low blow making Marty lean over allowing Staminator to grab him by the head and hit the Facelift!. The Staminator pinned Marty to get the 1, 2, and 3 to eliminate Marty Matthews.
It was now down to the final two, "Hot Property" Wyatt Blackford and The Staminator. Wyatt attempted a big clothesline on The Staminator but Staminator ducked and gave Wyatt a quick superkick. Staminator went for the pin but only got a two count. Staminator picked up Wyatt Blackford and gave him a quick bodyslam. Staminator went for the pin again but once again, Wyatt kicked out after two. Staminator picked up Wyatt but Wyatt gave Staminator two hard punches to his gut backing Staminator up a little bit.
Staminator charged at Wyatt jumping in the air but Wyatt grabbed him and threw him down hard into the ring. Wyatt went for the pin but only got a two count. Wyatt got on his feet and started kicking and punching Staminator on the ground. Wyatt then picked up Staminator and signaled that the Tetnis Shot was coming. Wyatt kicked Staminator in the gut making Staminator lean over getting ready for the big finish. Wyatt hooked Staminator's arms and lifted him in the air but just as he was about to execute the move The Staminator found a way to slide out of the move and come back down on his feet. Staminator grabbed Wyatt and pulled him off of his feet, turned him over and then locked on the Staminator Stretch!
Wyatt tried to fight the submission but after a few seconds it was too much for him and Wyatt had no choice but to tap out making The Staminator the first ever IBW Heavyweight Champion!
An IBW official came to ringside and handed The Staminator the IBW Heavyweight Title. The Staminator grabbed and threw it over his shoulder celebrating over a angry Wyatt Blackford. Seconds later, Marty Matthews ran down to the ring and got in. The Staminator turned around and Marty extended his hand to congratulate him. Just as The Staminator extended his hand to Marty, Marty spit water in the face of The Staminator. The Staminator then in response knocked out Marty with the IBW Heavyweight Title. Staminator signaled to the crowd that he wasn't done yet. The Staminator leaned down and picked up Marty Matthews with his belt in hand. Staminator layed his belt down on the ring, kicked Marty in the gut and connected with the Facelift, allowing Marty's head to nail the IBW Heavyweight Title. "Purple Pills" hit as The Staminator grabbed his belt and he taunted Marty Matthews with the IBW Heavyweight Title. The show ended with The Staminator jumping out of the ring and throwing the IBW Heavyweight Title over his shoulder continuing to stare down Marty Matthews who was left a mess in the IBW ring.
